Bunkers Hill

Was enticed here by the recent pop up kitchen courtesy of Sweetkins serving Nashville hot chicken. Had the opportunity of sampling excellent range of beers before ordering food from the Sweetkins menu.

I ordered a "plate" which was 3 chicken tenders with two sides for £7.50!! Excellent value, beautiful spiced chicken and delicious sides of bourbon baked beans and southern red potato skin salad. Unlike anything I have tried in Nottingham and would definitely return! Will be following Sweetkins as I am sure they will go far and can't wait to try more!!

Visited on 9th Feb and told next pop up on the 10th Feb, may have to go back for more!! Great stuff guys, keep up the awesome work!!

We visited this pub, with another couple. They live not far from the area and had found it on a previous visit. It is located not far from the city centre and close to the Nottingham Ice Centre.. Clean exterior, with seating. It is the interior that took us by surprise. The walls and ceiling are adorned with shirts from ice hockey teams. More importantly, the real ale choices were appreciated by our friends and my husband. Initially there were only a handful of customers, but it soon became clear that this is a well loved local. As a visitor, I would return and recommend it to others.

Good selection of 5 real ales and a nice spread of beer styles. There's a fair amount of seating both inside and out. Prices are pretty reasonable for a city centre (ish) pub and the staff are welcoming. Overall a good place to visit

Love it here! Booked the function room at Bunkers Hill last weekend for a friends 40th birthday, the manager& staff were lovely and really could not do enough! We even came in early to put our balloons and banners up! had the best night, we will be back soon!
